The Optimistic Owls` Alpine Adventure
The Optimistic Owls have been learning all about life in the French Alps. They made 3D models of Mont Blanc and the River Rhone. They learnt how to show the height of the land on a map and how to make a key.
Optimistic Owls climb Mont Blanc
To mark the beginning of our Geography topic on The Alps , we hired the mobile climbing wall.
All the classes in Key Stage 2 had a go at climbing it. Some members of our class scaled the heights quicker than a mountain goat while others were just content to conquer their fear of climbing and have a go.
